Cookie Policy
This notice, pursuant to Art. 13 of the GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679 and Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (hereinafter, the “Privacy Code“), describes how this website owned by N&N SRL manages the processing of personal data of users who browse it, also in accordance with the Italian Data Protection Authority’s decision of 10.06.2021 “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools” (hereinafter, the “Decision“).
This notice applies only to the website mentioned above and not to other websites or sections/pages/spaces owned by third parties that may be consulted by the user via specific links within it.
1. COOKIES AND THEIR CLASSIFICATION
1.1. Cookies
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files sent by the website visited by the user to the user’s device (usually to the browser), where they are stored so that the device can be recognized on the next visit. On each subsequent visit, the cookies are sent back from the user’s device to the site.
Each cookie generally contains: the name of the server from which the cookie was sent; its expiry; and a value, usually a randomly generated unique number. The website server that transfers the cookie uses this number to recognize you when you return to visit a site or navigate from one page to another.
Cookies can be installed not only by the same operator of the site visited by the user (first-party cookies), but also by a different site that installs cookies through the first site (third-party cookies) and is able to recognize them. This happens because the visited site may contain elements (images, maps, sounds, links to web pages of other domains, etc.) that reside on servers other than that of the visited site.
Based on their purpose, cookies are divided into technical cookies and statistical/profiling cookies.
Technical cookies are used solely to “carry out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service” (see Art. 122(1) of the Privacy Code). In particular, these cookies are usually used to enable efficient navigation between pages, store users’ preferences (language, country, etc.), perform IT authentication, manage the shopping cart or enable online purchases, etc. Some of these cookies (called essential or strictly necessary) enable functions without which certain operations would not be possible. Under the aforementioned Art. 122(1) of the Privacy Code, the use of technical cookies does not require users’ consent.
Analytics cookies are treated as technical cookies if used directly by the site operator to collect aggregated information on the number of users and how they visit the site. These cookies allow website owners and/or operators to understand how users interact with site content for optimization purposes.
Profiling cookies, on the other hand, are used to track the user’s browsing, analyze behavior for marketing purposes and create profiles on tastes, habits, choices, etc., so as to deliver targeted advertising messages related to the user’s interests and in line with the preferences expressed during online browsing. These cookies may be installed on the user’s device only if the user has expressed consent using the simplified methods indicated in the Decision.
Based on their duration, cookies are divided into persistent cookies, which remain stored on the user’s device until their expiry unless removed by the user, and session cookies, which are not stored permanently on the user’s device and disappear when the browser is closed.
Which cookies are used by this website?
| Name | Url | Description | Duration |

| _GRECAPTCHA | .google.com | This cookie is set by the Google reCAPTCHA service to identify bots in order to protect the website against malicious spam attacks. | 5 months 27 days |
Please note in any case that users can manage their preferences for online behavioral advertising via the website www.youronlinechoices.com/it, which lists the main behavioral advertising providers. Through that site, users can disable or enable all companies, or alternatively adjust their individual preferences for each company.
How can cookies be disabled/modified?
To modify the preferences already expressed regarding cookies, there is a specific link on the site to the control panel available at the side of the pages or in the footer (bottom) of the site.
By default, almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. However, it is possible to change this default configuration via the browser settings. Disabling/blocking cookies or deleting them may, however, compromise optimal use of certain areas of the site, prevent the use of some services and make browsing slower.
Cookie management configuration depends on the browser used. Usually, cookie configuration is handled from the “Preferences”, “Tools” or “Options” menu.
